Mae Jane Nam

Mae represents union clients and employees in all areas related to labour and employment law including grievance arbitration, labour board matters, matters related to professional misconduct and capacity, as well as human rights complaints. She joined RWBH as an associate in 2017.

Prior to coming to RWBH, Mae worked in-house at unions where she represented health care workers and Ontario Public Service employees.

While a student at law school, Mae won numerous scholarships and prizes. She was also a member union organizer, contributing to the successful certification of two bargaining units at McGill University.

Mae brings to her practice a deep seated commitment to social justice and workers’ rights stemming from her personal experience as a union member and community organizer for Filipino migrant workers and their families.

Outside of work, Mae enjoys playing music, cooking, camping, and spending time with her partner and their dog.
